The fact is that those kids whose pictures you keep snapping are growing. And when they're grown, they're going to love looking back on the things they remember. And one of the most wonderful things they'll remember is you. They won’t care if you didn’t look perfect in every photo … if your hair wasn’t done up just right … or if you weren’t at your ideal weight. (They’ll be too busy remembering how comfortingly real you were.) And the people who love you won’t care if your journaling wasn’t perfect. (They’ll be too busy hanging on every word, because it’s a priceless opportunity to learn more about you and remember the unique way you put pen to paper.) So come out from behind that camera! Show us who you really are. It will mean the world to someone some day. And probably a lot sooner than that!
