YOUTH SUMMER READING CLUBS Kids’ Summer Reading Club Children aged 4 and older receive a reading record, bookmark, and activity card. Their goal is to read for 7 weeks, collecting a different sticker for each week completed. Children aged 3 and under receive a “Read to Me” booklet to record the titles of the books they read with their parents.

All participants who meet their reading goals will receive a Summer Reading Club medal and a voucher for a free DQ Dilly Bar. Kids 4 and up: Every time you collect a sticker for meeting your weekly reading goals, you can enter our draw to win a telescope or a Sphero robot! Middle Schoolers ONLY Summer Reading Club Teens who have finished grades 5, 6, 7 or 8 are welcome to join. Write a short (3–4 sentence) review of each book you read. When you submit your first review, you will automatically win a prize. Subsequent reviews are entered into prize draws held throughout the summer. Green Screen and Robo-Goodness

Vancouver Puppet Theatre

Battle zombies, swim in a pool of lava, or stand on an airplane wing—with our green screen, you can get a photograph of something you didn’t do during summer vacation. Also, program and play with our Sphero robots!

There is a maximum of 25 people at each meeting, so come early to make sure you get in. There is no registration.
