GUIDELINES FOR ALL PHASES: INDIVIDUALS CONTINUE TO PRACTICE GOOD HYGIENE ✓ Wash your hands with soap and water or use hand sanitizer, especially after touching frequently used items or surfaces. ✓ Avoid touching your face. ✓ Sneeze or cough into a tissue, or the inside of your elbow. ✓ Disinfect frequently used items and surfaces as much as possible. ✓ Strongly consider using face coverings while in public, and particularly when using mass transit.

PEOPLE WHO FEEL SICK SHOULD STAY HOME ✓ Do not go to work or school. ✓ Contact and follow the advice of your medical provider.

ELECTIVE SURGERIES

Last week, hospitals have asked for authorization to resume elective surgeries. Today, I’m issuing an Executive Order, authorizing hospitals and outpatient surgical centers who can demonstrate adequate capacity, to resume elective surgeries beginning May 1st.

RAMPING UP TESTING IN ARIZONA DIAGNOSTIC TESTING

ANTIBODY TESTING

This testing will detect if you’re positive at the time of the test.

This testing can determine if someone has been exposed to the virus, had COVID-19 and recovered.

To Date 56,601 Tests Administered Moving Forward Plans to expand testing to broader populations, beyond just first responders and our most vulnerable.

University of Arizona Partnered with University of Arizona to administer testing for 250,000 Arizonans.

SONORA QUEST COVID TESTING We’re announcing a partnership with Sonora Quest to launch COVID-19 antibody testing.

1,000-3,000 tests per day at launch with plans to ramp up
