Mail FAQ

Q: Will I still get inserts in my paper? A: Yes. Your mailed edition will be complete with inserts and other supplements you expect.

Q: How does same-day delivery work? If I mail something it can sometimes take 3-5 days to reach its destination. A: We use special software that presorts each paper into postal carrier walk sequence. We then drop each bundle at the correct destination post office to cut out any time it would take for the postal service to move it around to the correct post office.

Q: I receive my mail late in the day, how can I stay informed? A: We understand that mail delivery times will vary throughout the region. If you would like to read your paper first thing in the morning our e-edition is ready to read by 3am. If you have a smartphone, tablet, or PC you can access your paper anytime, anywhere. Stories are also updated online even after the print edition is published.

Q: Since there isn’t mail on Sunday when will I get my Sunday edition? A: We are adjusting our publishing schedule. We will now publish a print product Tuesday through Saturday. Saturday will be an expanded edition which will contain special features along with the inserts you normally expect on Sunday.

Q: Will I get a paper on holidays? A: We will have expanded editions the day before a holiday. The only two holidays that will be impacted by this in 2021 are Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Q: I only see my mail carrier a few times per week. Will I get my paper on days when I don’t have other mail? A: Yes. Your newspaper is just like other mail. The post office will not hold it if you do not have other mail that day.
