This is a comprehensive beginners' Computer Aided Drawing Class (CAD) for practitioners of the solar business. The class will focus on teaching the necessary computer drawing skills to help with the design of Solar Panel Systems (PV Systems and Solar Thermal Systems). This CAD class will help prepare students for the Advanced PV Installation class as they will be required to prepare PV system drawings. This 45-hour introductory course offers participants a basic understanding of the role of the bilingual interpreter in healthcare settings. Are you a bilingual healthcare worker or interested in interpreting in healthcare settings? Learn the role of the interpreter and acquire the knowledge, abilities and skills needed to meet criteria established by the Standards of Practice of International Medical Interpreters Association and Code of Ethics of National Council on Interpreting in Healthcare. Those with experience in medical interpretation but with no prior training may enroll. Required: GED or H.S. Diploma. You must be bilingual in English & French/Creole; a language proficiency test will be administered to determine eligibility.
