This research of sustainable buildings in Poland was initiated by Buro Happold within the scope of the Construction Marketing Group. The project was inspired by the global “Business Case for Green Building” report developed by the World Green Building Council.
The following analysis of the market perception around sustainable construction is the first study of such scope in Poland, conducted on a large scale, taking into account the economic values and benefits of green buildings. One of the key aims of the study was to learn what the participants in the construction and real estate sector understand by “green” or “sustainable” buildings.
