Building Surveying Consultancy Services Framework 19th May 2014: Project Code: project_16123 Project Title: Building Surveying Consultancy Services Framework Opportunity Details Project Description: The intention of this Competition is for the University to establish a multisupplier Framework Agreement for the procurement of Building Surveying Consultancy Services on projects with a pre-tender estimate construction value less than £1,000,000 (£1m GBP) excluding VAT. It is envisaged that the Building Surveying Consultancy Services Framework Agreement will be awarded to three (3) Consultants. The Building Surveying Consultancy Framework Agreement scope of services shall be aligned to the RIBA Plan of Work 2013 available from www.ribaplanofwork.com. Full details of the scope of services will be available in the ITT. The Building Surveying Consultancy Services to be performed pursuant to this Framework Agreement may be required for projects on any of the four University campuses and will generally be limited to refurbishment, elemental replacement projects and surveys. £145k Heritage Gateway Project - Design Team 22nd May 2014: The Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) has awarded support to the initial plans for an ambitious project to transform Enniskillen Castle into a heritage gateway for Fermanagh. The proposals from Fermanagh District Council received a first-round pass and development grant last year of £111,200, which will be used to work up more detailed plans in order to secure the full £2.47 million grant.

The design team is to be headed up by Kriterion Conservation Architects, Belfast. The final value of the contract is £145,700, excluding Vat. The contract is for 26 months. The design team will work with an interpretative consultant with a requirement to provide the services of an archaeologist during the demolition/earth works of the contract.
