October Commemorative Air Force AIRSHO
Held the second week in October, this premier aviation event has been delighting crowds for more than 50 years. Staged at the Commemorative Air Force Headquarters in Midland, AIRSHO has been billed as “the greatest warbird show in America.” Featuring reenactments of historic battles, and with World War II and modern military aircraft taking to the skies, the event includes pyrotechnic displays, food, drink, shopping and family entertainment.
