GOOSBY HONORED AT 40TH ANNUAL SCHOLARSHIP GALA: Hempstead Town Councilwoman Dorothy Goosby (2nd right) was pleased to be counted among the Honorees at the 100 Black Men of Long Island’s 40th Annual Scholarship Gala Celebrating “Education, Mentoring & Leadership” held at Chateau Briand in Carle Place. Councilwoman Goosby also presented a Certificate of Recognition to each of this year’s Honorees and congratulated the Board of Directors and President Amun Handa. A special congratulations went to each of the four students receiving scholarships: Kwasi Enin (Yale), Bedel Saget Jr. (Yale), Khalik Watts (Virgina Union) and Tyler Gregory (SUNY Farmingdale).
