Wright Jewelry & Design invites community members to shop ‘The Wright Way’

HUDSON - The staff at Wright Jewelry & Design Company in Hudson are thanking community members for their support while also inviting them to stop in and shop “The Wright Way” this holiday season.

“As a small family-owned business, we pride ourselves in giving you the shopping experience of yesteryear, while delivering a selection of quality jewelry, both trendy and traditional,” owners Justin and Jenna Beit noted in a recent press release.

Wright Jewelry is showcasing its largest assortment of product yet this season, highlighting jewelry designers both near and far, University with a B.S. in Business and has lived in the greater Boston area for his entire life.

Avidia Investment Services hires new financial advisor

He graduated from Northeastern St. Mary’s appoints Marlborough resident as new Junior Commercial Lending Officer

MARLBOROUGH - St. Mary’s Credit Union recently announced the appointment of Erick Pereira to the role of Junior Commercial Lending Officer. A Marlborough resident, Pereira will “cultivate new relationships to generate business loans while also servicing existing commercial relationships” according to a St. Mary’s press release.

“With my experience in both corporate and retail banking, taking on this role at St. Mary’s Credit Union is a perfect next step forward in my banking career,” said Pereira. “I take pride in building strong relationships and will continue to provide St. Mary’s Credit Union members the exceptional service they have come to expect from our team.”

Pereira comes to St. Mary’s Credit Union from Berkshire Bank, where he served as Assistant Vice President, Senior Branch Officer, and oversaw two branch locations.

He also served as Assistant Branch Manager at Commerce Bank, a Division of Berkshire Bank, at locations in Boston, Shrewsbury and Worcester.

Juniper Hill Golf Course celebrates success of Turkey Day fundraiser

NORTHBOROUGH - Juniper Hill Golf Course recently raised $2,341 in cash, checks and supermarket gift cards to be donated to a variety of local charities.

That was in addition to nearly 225 turkeys that the Golf Course also collected.

This was all thanks to Juniper (l to r): Paul McAfee, Rich Griete, Fred T. Hill’s Turkey Day fundraiser Turkey, Al St. Jean, and Tom Bowser held late last month.

Golfers and staff pulled together to support that effort.

Veterans Inc. then distributed over 400 boxes of turkeys, dinner fixings and pies to families of Massachusetts veterans.

“The staff of Juniper Hill Golf Course would like to whole-heartedly thank all of you who participated in our Turkey Day Event,” Juniper Hill said in a statement.

The Marlborough Commuter Shuttle is back in service!

The 12 -passenger handicap-accessible shuttle connects local commuters between three stops at the Southborough MBTA Commuter Rail, the Apex Center of New England, and the business park located at 200 Forest Street. This option provides free public transportation for those who take the train to and/or from Boston and Worcester.
