SAINT LEO THE GREAT CLUB COLLECTS DONATIONS FOR BIRTHRIGHT

Saint Leo the Great Community Action (CALL CLUB), moderated by Mrs. Rosemary Devine, collected over 12 contractor bags filled with diapers and wipes, along with infant clothing and $525 to present to Birthright on May 21, 2015. Birthright of Red Bank has been providing help, support, and solutions to women in our community who face unplanned pregnancies for over 37 years. Birthright is a non-profit charitable organization with chapters across Canada, the United States, and Africa, as well as a 24/7 North American toll-free Helpline. They bring smiles to children’s faces by granting wishes to children in need and by bringing toys, books and gift cards to pediatric patients in Jersey Shore area hospitals. The website’s supporters and fans donated 135 toys, books and nearly $4,000 in cash and gift cards to brighten the days of children going through tough times in our communities.
