[ The Entrance Procedure ] <Qualifications to Apply> Educational background

:Applicants must have finished high school and have completed 12 years of school education abroad.

Age

:Within 5 years after graduated from the last school he/she completed

Japanese language proficiency:Level 4 or above at the Japanese-Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) or the equivalent Other than above

:Those who intend to enter a college / university / vocational school in Japan.

<Time of Entrance> April (2-year course) / July (1-year and 9-month course) / October (1-year and 6-month course) / January (1-year and 3-month course)

<Procedure from Application to Entrance> (1) Communica Institute conducts its own internal selection through examination of the application documents, a written test and an interview. (2) Communica Institute applies to the Immigration Bureau for a Certificate of Eligibility for the selected applicant. (3) Once the Certificate of eligibility is issued, the applicant applies for a visa at Japanese Embassy or Consulate on his/her own. (*Please refer to the list below.) (4) When a visa is issued, the applicant enters Japan on his/her own. April

<About documents to be submitted> Please read the following lists and prepare the required documents. *Each document has to be filled and signed by the applicant, supporter, or the issuing authority. *For all the documents written in your language (including a diploma), provide Japanese translation. Write the translation on an A4-size paper and write translator’s name, his/her address or organization, and date. *All copies of documents must be provided in color. *If you have any question, please feel free to ask our school office.* (If color copy is impossible, please submit a monochrome copy and a color photograph together.)

・ If the sponsor is a relative of the applicant, submit the resident registration.

*If you have applied to another school in the past. (1) Submit all the copies of the documents you submitted last time, and the letter of explanation from the immigration office (why your application was not accepted). (2) In the case that even though a Certificate of Eligibility was issued, you did not enter school / come to Japan, submit a written explanation of the reasons.

*Payment rules of Communica Institute> 1) Entrance examination fee ・Non-refundable – even if you do not pass the examination of Communica Institute. 2) Entrance fee ・We do not refund entrance fee in case if you decide not to enter our school after a Certificate of Eligibility is issued. 3) Fees ・We refund fees for tuition, facilities, and teaching materials in case if Japanese Embassy or Japanese consulate does not issue visa after Certificate of Eligibility is issued. Please bring the receipt of the fees you paid and the notice from Japanese Embassy. ・We refund fees for tuition and facilities if you decide not to apply for a visa after Certificate of Eligibility is issued. We can refund only when you bring a receipt and return Certificate of Eligibility.

・Please pay attention: the fees must be paid on a yearly basis (one-time payment for a whole year, no installment).
