What happens if the system breaks down and there will be no money anymore? Will trade still be possible and what does the social system look like if we are depending on our selves? Dealing with these question were important during the process of designing a self-sufficient village in a new definition of scale. The idea is to build a kind of pneumatic system which allows the village to be economical independent. Producing and providing their own energy, food and water is the theoretical answer for being self-sustained.

SKYSCRAPER WORKSHOP


The workshop with architect Yehoshua Gutman (Bezalel Academy of Arts in Jerusalem) focused on redefining skyscraper design through the implementation of novel technologies, materials, programs, aesthetics, and spatial organizations along with studies on globalization, flexibility, adaptability, and the digital revolution.

There is no greater spot for a museum than on the “ Ile de la cite“ in Paris. By analyzing the artist Luis Buñuel and his surrealistic work it was clear that the public building should show the bizarre characteristics of surrealism to its visitors.

Due to the needs we separated the alpine hut in its different functions and we give rise to a small alpine village. However we kept the tradition of alpine architecture in the meaning of form and material. For the big glass facades we used ICE-H structure glass from GlasMarte which gives the building an unique appearance.

In the beginning of my studies I had to plan a residential home in the perfect spot. The property is on a slope, plus it is bordering on a small river. The horizontal concrete structure fit in the High layering lines, the projection reminds of a rock.
