OUR CAMPUS COMMUNITY

We offer an interdisciplinary and experiential learning environment, innovative and comprehensive programs, and a park-like setting. Hands-on research, mentorship and study abroad opportunities allow students to learn from renowned experts in their fields.

SPORTS & RECREATION CENTER Our 77,000 square foot athletic center features two gyms, an eight-lane swimming pool, a fully equipped fitness center, and five racquetball courts. Outside, students work out on a quarter-mile track, compete in tennis, basketball and handball, and play soccer, baseball and softball. WSIA 88.9 FM – STATEN ISLAND’S ONLY RADIO STATION! From eclectic music, to news and public affairs programming, to college and professional sports, WSIA 88.9 FM is proud to serve the College of Staten Island and the local community. THE ASTROPHYSICAL OBSERVATORY, one of three in the CUNY system, features a newly upgraded, powerful 16" telescope, is listed as an Official Asteroid Tracking Station and is open to the public.

CENTER FOR THE ARTS Located at the heart of campus is our Center for the Arts, a world-class performance venue and scholarly resource; home to a series of first-rate performances featuring music, comedy, theater, dance, and children’s theater. CENTERS FOR SCIENTIFIC EXPLORATION Our campus houses more than 70 advanced science laboratories. Using modern facilities and cutting-edge equipment, our teams take science to new levels.

INTERNATIONAL SERVICES

Our OFFICE OF STUDENT LIFE connects students to the CSI community. We offer learning experiences that complement your academic pursuits and create an engaged campus community. Our team coordinates an active calendar of student events, arranges civic leadership opportunities for students, and provides guidance to leaders of student clubs and initiatives.

You can choose from a wide array of programs, such as business, communications, education, nursing, pre-medicine, music, and computer science. Not sure which path to take? At CSI, you can explore different learning tracks.

At CSI, we build partnerships with leading educational institutions around the world. Our goal is to raise awareness of the value of diversity, and the importance of international cooperation. As part of this commitment, the Center for International Service administers study abroad and exchange programs with leading institutions in over 17 countries. The Center also provides services for students and scholars from around the world. This includes immigration services, extensive orientation, ongoing advisement, and the coordination of a variety of on-campus programs throughout the year.

THE MACAULAY HONORS COLLEGE MHC provides selected students full financial support, access to research funds and a NYC cultural passport to pursue an exceptional learning opportunity. They are mentored by leading faculty as they progress through their major. Outside the classroom, students participate in internships and community service related to their chosen fields.

THE TEACHER EDUCATION HONORS ACADEMY TEHA educates the new generation of science and mathematics teachers, preparing them to inspire learning in middle school and high school students. Qualified students can earn four-year scholarships, teaching internships, and the opportunity to learn from outstanding faculty in science and mathematics.

Our ATHLETIC PROGRAMS fit the needs of both serious and recreational athletes. Students are encouraged to try out for our intercollegiate sports teams, which have earned over 60 CUNY Athletic Conference titles. We also offer a wide variety of intramural athletic programs. Between our college teams, our intramural offerings, and our exceptional recreational facilities, we serve every athletic interest.

We offer an interdisciplinary and experiential learning environment, innovative and comprehensive programs, and a park-like setting. Hands-on research, mentorship and study abroad opportunities allow students to learn from renowned experts in their fields.

SPORTS & RECREATION CENTER Our 77,000 square foot athletic center features two gyms, an eight-lane swimming pool, a fully equipped fitness center, and five racquetball courts. Outside, students work out on a quarter-mile track, compete in tennis, basketball and handball, and play soccer, baseball and softball. WSIA 88.9 FM – STATEN ISLAND’S ONLY RADIO STATION! From eclectic music, to news and public affairs programming, to college and professional sports, WSIA 88.9 FM is proud to serve the College of Staten Island and the local community. THE ASTROPHYSICAL OBSERVATORY, one of three in the CUNY system, features a newly upgraded, powerful 16" telescope, is listed as an Official Asteroid Tracking Station and is open to the public.
