Dip Dip Hooray for Back to School Game Night! After a busy week I knew everyone would be ready for a low-key Saturday night, so off to Walmart I went to get a simple dinner to enjoy with game night. I was also on the hunt for some healthy lunchbox alternatives. Inspired by Dip Dip Hooray I picked up Tyson Chicken Nuggets, Ore Ida Crinkle Fries and some Heinz Ketchup (for dipping, of course). No dinner is complete without a veggie, so I also picked up some edamame in a steam bag. What an easy dinner. Oh, and guess what I found on the bottle of ketchup? A coupon for $2 off when you buy Tyson, Ore Ida and Heinz – perfect! While my husband manned the oven, toaster oven and microwave, K and I decided on Chutes & Ladders. We all loved game night. It was a great time to hang out and do something together as a family!

Easy, Cheesy Chicken Parmesan Sandwiches & Family Game Night Every now and then we like to have Family Game Night at our house. I wish we had the time to do this once a week because we always have a great time! This weekend we had a Family Game Night and to make it extra special I served up some of my kid’s favorite foods - Chicken Nuggets and French Fries! I put a little spin on it though and made Easy, Cheesy, and Chicken Parmesan Sandwiches with Chicken Nuggets. The sandwiches were so delicious; and once I told the boys we were eating Chicken Nugget Sandwiches they were all for it! Next up were games! Hasbro makes some of our very favorite family games. The boys love their Toy Story Memory Game but we wanted to play some new ones this time. They enjoyed playing Hungry Hippos while Chris opened up the new Battleship game. Turns out, Reece LOVES Battleship! He had the best time and it will certainly be on the rotation for future click Family Game Nights! Turn Page for Recipe

Easy, Cheesy Chicken Parmesan Sandwiches INGREDIENTS Tyson Chicken Nuggets Mozzarella Cheese Marinara or Pasta Sauce Parmesan Cheese French Rolls Ore Ida French Fries Heinz Ketchup TECHNIQUE Cook the Golden Crinkles an Chicken Nuggets according to the package instructions. While those are cooking, take out the rolls and sprinkle some of the Parmesan cheese on them. Any Parmesan cheese will work - I happened to have some Shaved Parmigiano Reggiano cheese on hand. Throw those into the same oven and let the rolls toast for 3-5 minutes. Once the Chicken Nuggets are cooked, place them on top of the rolls and sprinkle with more Parmesan cheese. Spoon on 3-4 tablespoons of sauce. And then cover with mozzarella cheese. You can use shredded, fresh, or slices. Whatever you have will work :) Throw the sandwiches back into the oven and bake until the cheese is melted. {3-5 minutes} and get ready to enjoy!

Family Vacation Game Night & Dipping Dinner After having a fun filled day in “town” I picked up the supplies from Walmart for a fun dipping dinner and game night. I bought Scattergories from Walmart and my friend bought another game. Each player gets a list of categories and they make a list of answers that all start with the same letter. We also had a dipping dinner! What is a dipping dinner? Well, it is a dinner that is all about dipping; and what kid doesn’t love foods that can be dipped? We assembled 3 kinds of kabobs for eating and dipping: fruit, veggie and nuggets & fries. Each kabob had its own dip. Once we got home, I created an account at Dip To Play to enter the sweepstakes. I was also able to enter the UPCs from my Heinz Ketchup, Tyson Chicken Nuggets and Ore-Ida fries to unlock access to the online game of the week. This week’s game is Connect 4! We look forward to future game nights and more dipping dinners!

Family Game Night Great Affordable Family Fun! This year I will only be teaching part-time so finding ways to have affordable family fun is important. Finding activities that we can all do together without spending a ton of money is one of my goals. I’m always on the hunt! Since our game night was going to be a Friday night, I knew I needed some fun food to go along with our games! While picking up some Heinz Ketchup at Walmart, I spotted a Dip Dip Hooray coupon! With the coupon, you can save $2 when you buy all 3 products listed. Well the products were perfect for our family night. I knew that we would love chicken nuggets and French fries. The coupon also had a QR code and website link to diptoplay. com. In the Heinz Dip Dip Hooray Dip To Play sweepstakes you have the chance to win a $1,000 Hasbro Game Night! Now that would be a blast! I was able to enter the UPC codes off of the Ore-Ida French Fries, Heinz Ketchup and Tyson Chicken Nuggets that we purchased.

Family Fun Game Day We walked the aisles at Walmart looking for ideas on what to cook for dinner, until the Teen decided “How about Chicken Nuggets?” She wanted French Fries next. So off to the Ore-Ida Freezer section we went. They had a TON to choose from and we grabbed a few bags for our Family Fun Game night; now what would be a party be without Ketchup? Since I needed a bottle anyway, we headed over to grab some Heinz ketchup. To our surprise, on the bottle, there was a coupon for $2.00 off if I buy all three; a Tyson chicken Nugget Bag, an Ore-Ida Fries product and a bottle of ketchup. We are in luck because all three were in my cart and the coupon was a go! We also checked out the game aisle to see what kind of fun games we could find. To my surprise Walmart had a HUGE selection of Hasbro Family Games. Most of them already live in our home and I’m sure the kids would find something to all agree on. BUT, they saw the Electronic Monopoly …in the cart it went. click We had the ultimate family fun night with our new game and delicious food!

Family Night Fun Games Family Night Meal solutions One of the great things I have discovered is having a simple meal for our family night. This keeps mommy out of the kitchen and with the family! It offers a very simple clean up that everyone can help with and it allows for a lot more time for the family game night! This week we went to Walmart to get a simple meal solution for our Hasbro game night. We are huge fans of Hasbro games and toys, and I figured it was time to get a new game. But first, we need to get the food! A favorite for my kids is Tyson Chicken nuggets with Ore Ida French Fries! Yes please! They are so simple to cook up, easier to clean up, and my kids actually eat dinner without complaint! Yet, we can’t forget the Heinz Ketchup! My kids would never eat the Tyson Chicken Nuggets and Ore Ida French Fries without the Heinz Ketchup! So why the brand names? Well, we’ve found in our family that the Tyson Chicken Nuggets taste the best, and come out more crisp with oven baking. Plus, I love that they now feature the 100% natural chicken nuggets!

Dip Dip Hooray Night Have you heard about Dip Dip Hooray? Dip Dip Hooray is a fun and tasty way to bring your family together around the table enjoying a meal and then sharing some fun with Hasbro board games. You can check out the website, play the game of the week by entering UPC codes from the participating brands, enter to win a $1000 Game Night Grand Prize or Hasbro Board Games, and learn more about the products and collecting some interesting ketchup, chicken and Ore-Ida trivia. You’ll find out more about these great products, deals or coupons and ideas for using them creatively by following the Twitter accounts of Heinz and Tyson, liking Heinz, Tyson and Ore-Ida on Facebook and checking out Hasbro’s Sweepstakes page. Heinz, Ore-Ida, Tyson and Hasbro are all participating in this creative campaign to help families reconnect and have fun spending time together. Of course, what kids don’t enjoy chicken nuggets and fries dipped in ketchup. But this week, my challenge was to use those ingredients to create a unique recipe that takes nuggets and fries outside the usual “dip and dunk” box. Even if you’ve never thought about using these ingredients in a recipe, you’re going to FLIP for this one and your family will ask you to make it again and again! It is super simple to make and you can have dinner in the oven in minutes, since the prep time is so quick. A rousing game of The Game of Life zAPPed was the perfect finish to a great family evening! Hasbro has so many fun options to draw your family into an evening of fun and great memories together. With the cold winter months, just around the corner it’s a great time to stock up on games that will be hours of indoor, interactive fun for the whole family!

Crinkle Nugget Casserole Recipe INGREDIENTS 1 bag (32 oz) Tyson Chicken Nuggets 1 bag (26 oz) Ore-Ida Crinkle Cut Fries 1/4 cup Heinz Ketchup 1 cup frozen corn 2 green onions, diced 1 pkg. (8 oz) cream cheese, softened 1 cup sour cream 1 can (26 oz family-sized) cream of chicken soup 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, grated TECHNIQUE Cover the bottom of a 9x13 baking pan with a single layer of Tyson Chicken Nuggets. Sprinkle the corn and diced green onions over the nuggets. To make the sauce, or as my husband fondly refers to it, gravy, mix the softened cream cheese, cream of chicken soup, sour cream and Heinz Ketchup. Pour the sauce over the nuggets, corn and onions, spreading it out in an even layer. Layer the cheddar cheese over the sauce. Cover the cheese with a layer of Ore-Ida Crinkle Cut Fries. Bake at 425 degrees for 40 minutes or until the casserole is bubbly and the fries are lightly browned and crispy. We served ours with a salad of mixed organic greens and my family couldn't get enough of this tasty meal. I hope you'll enjoy it, too!

Game On! Family Night with Dip Dip Hooray When I told my kids I was planning a Hasbro Game Night they were excited. Especially when I mentioned they could help pick out a new game. After walking through the game aisle we found many that we wanted to try, but finally agreed on Connect 4. On game night, the last thing I want to do is spend all of my time in the kitchen. Meals that can go together in less than 30 minutes and please my picky eaters are a bonus. For this Dip Dip Hooray party we stuck with the classics–French fries, chicken nuggets and ketchup. Of course, I love to switch things up and am always looking for a way to incorporate a little zing.

Nuggie Tot Farmer’s Pie & Family Game Night We don’t know many people here yet so to celebrate Madilyn’s birthday, we had some family over. She was content playing with her cousin Tyler, but the adults were bored. It’s not like me to be bored on a Sunday, especially on football opening week. Instead of watching TV, we decided to pick out one of our favorite Hasbro games and make a night of it. One of our favorites is Clue: Secrets & Spies. This isn’t like the clue that you’re used to. This is like Clue Mission Impossible style. SO cool. There’s a lot to it but it’s very easy to learn, and a whole lot of fun to play. We love to have family game nights but our schedules often get in the way. I sometimes complain that the babies are too young but we recently bought a Sesame Street Memory game by Hasbro. She LOVES it and does a great job playing. Grady is still a little young but if we give him a card or something to hold he’s as happy as a pig in poop. I’ve been trying to do a better job focusing on spending quality time as a family since we moved to Raleigh and I think we’re doing a darn good job. Styles loves the interaction and so do we. It definitely leaves us feeling more connected when we’re done. Turn Page for Recipe

Nuggie Tot Farmer’s Pie INGREDIENTS 1/2 bag Tyson Chicken Nuggets 1/2 bag Ore-Ida Tater Tots 1/2 cup Heinz Ketchup (I used their Simply ketchup) 2 yellow squash 2 broccoli crowns 2 cloves garlic, minced 1 Tablespoon olive oil 1 package (2 cups) shredded cheese (I used Pepper Jack) Salt & Pepper to taste TECHNIQUE Preheat oven to 400º. Bake chicken nuggets according to package instructions. While chicken is baking, shred veggies with the grating attachment on your food processor or with a box grater. Heat oil on medium, with garlic until garlic is softened but not browned. Add squash and broccoli and saute until soft, approx. 5 minutes. Set aside. Once the chicken nuggets are done, preheat oven to 450º. Bake tater tots according to package instructions. Cut chicken nuggets into bite-sized pieces. I found that making a lateral cut and two horizontal cuts made perfect child-sized bites. Place diced nuggets into the bottom of a casserole dish. Layer sauteed vegetables over chicken nuggets. Spread 1/2 cup of Ketchup over the vegetables and layer 1 cup cheese over the ketchup. When tater tots are done cooking, reduce heat to 350º then mash the tots with the back of a fork and layer them over the vegetables and cheese. Bake casserole in 350º oven for 20 minutes. Sprinkle remaining cheese over casserole and bake 15 more minutes, until cheese is bubbly. Allow casserole to rest 5 minutes outside of the oven before serving.

Creating Family Traditions with Family Game Night I have really enjoyed shopping at Walmart alone lately because I have time to look around without being rushed. When I think Family Game Night, I always think about Hasbro so I checked out the game aisle for some 4-year-old friendly games. Then I headed over and picked up some Tyson chicken nuggets (the dinosaur nuggets, of course), some Ore-Ida Extra Crispy Crinkle Fries, and ketchup. I was looking for something quick and easy. Tyson, Ore-Ida, and Heinz, along with Hasbro Game Night, have joined together to create a Dip to Play Sweepstakes online. Shoppers who purchase Heinz® Ketchup, Ore-Ida® Frozen Potato Products, and Tyson® Chicken Nuggets (29-32 oz.) can log in at DiptoPlay.com and enter the UPC codes and unlock a new online game every week. You can also return to the site daily to enter for a chance to win a $1000 Hasbro Game Night Grand Prize!! Check out the Dip to Play Official Rules and let the winning begin!!

Beware Of The Volcano! Family Fun Night There was a small, crispy island of Ore-Ida that had the Mt. Crinkle Cut on it (Hubby came up with the names). It was a peaceful and quiet home for the Nugget Dinosaurs, aka the Tysonsaurus. Where they lived their nice lives... They were not aware that the Mt. Crinkle Cut was actually a volcano! One day, they felt the rumble from below. They got scared and started running...The Mt. Crinkle Cut volcano started spewing hot, red lava! There went the island of Ore-Ida! Let me also say that we just got a new Hasbro Family Game Night game to try. It had Battleship (my favorite), Sliders, Yahtzee, Connect Four and Boggle. Classic board games on Wii = fun!

Our First Family Game Night! Sophia is almost 2 and a half and usually the types of games she enjoys are Tag!, Hide-and-Seek, and anything that gets her moving. When you just mention the word game, she gets excited. So the anticipation of Game Night was so much for her! All day Sophia kept asking when we would have Game Night – she just couldn’t wait! She helped me lay out the fries and chicken nuggets on the pan and in less than 20 minutes, we were ready to eat! As a family, we’re eating healthier meals – so I simply added a side of broccoli for Sophia and Rob and sliced my Tyson Chicken Nuggets into strips to top my salad. I love the fact that both the french fries and nuggets can be baked, and come out crispy and delicious – throw away that deep fryer people! Family Game Night Sophia got this fun Candy Land game for Christmas last year, but the age recommended on the front was 3+. So, it had been at the top of her closet until this night. I wasn’t sure if she would totally understand the game, but we decided to give it a shot! Um, yeah. She got it. She got it so much that she won 3 out of 3 games! We had to keep reminding her what direction the path was winding in, but she loved counting the squares and picking the colors. Rob and I talked about how much we loved doing this with the girls and how we would definitely continue having Family Game Nights in the future regularly.

Host Your Own Family Game Night I wanted to plan something different for our official back-to-school game night, so I planned a Family Game Night PJ Party! Everyone was invited to wear their favorite PJ’s to enjoy “Breakfast for Dinner” while we played a new board game of their choice. The kids were super excited and helped purchase all the groceries with me at Walmart. Ella helped with designing some of the ingredients, while Andrew helped pick out the new Hasbro board game. When planning our festive “Breakfast Dinner” I thought about one of my husband’s favorite childhood traditions of when his grandpa would make him fried chicken and waffles for dinner. Since I have never made fried chicken and waffles before, I thought that since Tyson fried chicken made with 100% natural ingredients that it would be the best choice in serving my family.

Having Fun with Tyson, Heinz and Hasbro I recently set out to create a brand new dish made out of yummy Tyson and Heinz products that would be perfect for a fun Hasbro Family Game Night. To get started, I headed to Walmart to do some shopping. To create my sandwich I would need Tyson Chicken Nuggets, Heinz Ketchup and Ore Ida French Fries, along with bread, peppers, onions and cheese. I also headed to the toy section to browse through the Hasbro Games. What a great time we had with new games and superb sandwiches! I also wanted to tell you about DipToPlay.com. It’s a collaborative effort between Tyson, Heinz, Ore-Ida and Hasbro. By registering you get a chance to win a $1000 Hasbro Game Night Grand Prize or 1 of 250 Hasbro game first prizes. Labor Day Weekend Family Game Night Labor Day Weekend is a weekend for family fun. We were inspired by the Dip Dip Hooray event going on where you can buy certain products and upload the UPC numbers to unlock games! The DipTo Play.com site lets you play fun games and even enter in the sweepstakes to win. The kids and I had fun shopping at Walmart for all our items. First we found Twister Hoopla by Hasbro, which we thought would be a fun outdoor or indoor game. Next, Kendal found an electronic version of Monopoly. She was so excited to get it! We also found our Tyson Chicken Nuggets, Ore-Ida Golden Crinkles, and Heinz Ketchup, as well as some veggies, cornon-the-cob, and some applesauce. Oh, and ice cream cones for dessert as well!

Game Night Made Easy With Dip! Dip! Hooray! I was recently invited to try out some Tyson Chicken Nuggets, Ore Ida Crinkle Fries and Heinz ketchup to partner with Hasbro games (we chose Candy Land). While little man isn’t quite old enough to play an actual game, he LOVED moving the players along the candy trail, and I liked that he understood the concept of following a set path. I headed out to Walmart to grab a bunch of fun and tasty treats for the night, including Tyson Chicken Nuggets, Ore Ida Crinkle Fries and Heinz ketchup. I made a delicious Heinz Ketchup based BBQ sauce to go with the nuggets and fries to jazz up our little meal.

Add Vegetables To Ketchup To Make A Quick Meal Nutritous Alina LOVES to dip her food. Are your kids the same way? She especially loves ketchup and I thought it would be a great place to sneak in vegetables. So last week, after the baby’s nap, I tried to squeeze in a quick shopping trip to Walmart before the toddler’s afternoon nap. The trip was so quick that I didn’t even grab a cart, but Alina still managed to fall asleep! I picked up a butternut squash, Tyson chicken nuggets, Ore Ida crinkle fries and continued on to the condiments aisle to inspect the variety of Heinz Ketchup... While the chicken and fries cooked, and before Daddy got home from work, Alina and I sat down to enter the Dip Dip Hooray sweepstake and unlock a fun online game for us to play. It was super simple! I just set up an account and uploaded the UPC codes from the chicken, fries and ketchup. And the grand prize is a gift card to stock up the awesome games Hasbro makes - something we really need to do! Family game nights are a great way for a family to spend quality time together, and I hope to offer my babies those experiences as they grow. Visit the Dip To Play click website to find out how you can unlock a game and enter the sweepstake. Follow Tyson, Heinz and Ore Ida on Facebook to learn more! Click here for the official rules.

Quick Brunch Strata w/ Garlic Wine Sauce for Family Game Night Fun Oh my goodness…this is one of the most fun times I have had in weeks. I was challenged to come up with some Heinz®, Tyson®, and Ore-Ida® creative meal solutions. My mind went into overdrive as soon as I learned of the ingredients – Heinz Ketchup, Tyson Chicken Nuggets and Ore-Ida Golden French Fries. Well, you might think of dinner or lunch…but not me. I thought immediately of breakfast or brunch. The second part of this challenge was to throw a family game night with Hasbro games – Hasbro Game Night. Well, around here it has always been Parsons’ Sunday Fun Day! So I decided to make this one really memorable with an all out Hasbro game challenge Brunch of Champions. When I saw the Wii version of our favorite board games at Walmart, I had to see how you could play them on the television. You can see that I went big with the food and games…I love family fun day or night!!! That shopping cart is full of goodies that I plan to make into something delicious! While I prepped the food, HIMself loaded the games and reviewed the how-sort of. A strata is what I am making, sort of. And you are supposed to assemble it ahead of time and let it sit (and become well marinated) overnight. That’s a good thing because you get up on family fun day and pop it in the oven. Add fruit and orange juice and you have a great meal.

Quick Brunch Strata w/Garlic Wine Sauce INGREDIENTS 1/2 package frozen Tyson Chicken Nuggets (cut in small pieces) 3 cups frozen Ore-Ida Golden French Fries (cut and chopped) 1-9 ounce package frozen cut asparagus, thawed and well-drained Enough butter or olive oil to saute onions and nuggets 1 bunch green onions, chopped (approx. 1/2 cup) 2-1/2 cups shredded cheese (8 oz) 1-1/2 cup Original Bisquick® mix 2-1/2 cups milk 1/4 teaspoon pepper 8 eggs (beaten) TECHNIQUE Heat oven to 400°F. Coat a rectangular baking dish (13 x 9×2 inches) with cooking spray. Place chicken nuggets in skillet and sprinkle seasoning mix over the chicken. Stir and cook over medium heat for 5 minutes. You might need to add more butter or oil so the mixture does not stick. Line bottom of baking dish with potatoes. Stir Bisquick mix, milk, pepper and eggs until blended. Pure half egg mixture over potatoes. Sprinkle 1 cup of cheese over this. Top with asparagus, green onions and 1 cup of cheese. Stir this mixture slightly with spoon. Do not over do this. Top with remaining egg mixture. Bake uncovered 40 to 50 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean and it is puffy. Sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake 1 to 2 minutes longer or just until cheese is melted. Cool 5 minutes. NOTE: You can substitute any meat or veggie you like in this recipe. They ALL taste good. I have used ham, bacon, sausage, tuna and all the veggies you can think of. I usually use what I have on hand.

Garlic Wine Sauce INGREDIENTS 1/2 C Heinz Ketchup 1/2 C Heinz Balsamic Vinegar Ketchup Ground Cloves to taste 1 pkg. McCormick Garlic Wine Marinade (I used about 1 tablespoon give or take) TECHNIQUE Just mix them together until you love the taste. Serve with anything!!!
