Christmas Celebration

n December 18, Colegio Biblico students, faculty and staff from both campuses gathered to celebrate Christmas. A traditional Mexican dinner was served and everyone participated in games organized by the students. Several friends of CB sent gifts for our students. And, Southwest Christian Church in Austin, Texas, sent gifts to the students’ children with Terri and Caryl Livengood who came to deliver them. Thank you all!

A

work team of 25 from Pleasant Ridge Christian Church in Lawrenceville, Illinois, and Hebron Road Church of Christ in Robinson, Illinois, came to Colegio Biblico from December 27 to January 1. Led by minister Bill Greenwood, and assisted by CB volunteer Pete Beal, they assembled 37 trusses and started the wall framing for Duplex #4. With the help of Colegio students and alumni, Tania Soriano, Genaro Sanchez, and Jocabed Sanchez, the group conducted a three-day retreat for unchurched teeenagers and provided all the materials and food for the event. The team also distributed packages of groceries, clothes, shoes and toys for needy people in the campus vecinity and in the neighborhoods where Genaro and Jocabed minister. A great big thank you to our friends. We were blessed by your hard work and generous giving.
