Freshman sports started off auspiciously this year with a power laden football team which was undefeated, untied, and unscored upon. They rolled over all opponents with such consummate ease that Varsity Coach Nels Corey can hardly wait for 1 9 5 1 . Outstanding on the offen sive line were Jim Parks, Tony Yannuchi, and Bob Hudson, while Gene Floyd an.d Charley Windhorst shone in the offensive backfield.

On

defense, Jonny Resseler and Don Kileen on the line and Jack Jannoni, Dick Fomiciari and Dick Noonan backing up, were impenetrable. When these boys are sophomores, Colby's star should shine more brightly.
