Starting your work You can start working with one of the samples I supply or with the file bag die line.

Picking the model Pick the one you like, or make a test in all models before you decide.

Change render quality to interactive After you opened one of the model samples check the 3D scene panel, to change render settings, set Quality to interactive (Painting) before starting the customizing process. Follow the pink dots, from top to bottom.

Loading label map Go to the 3D materials window, click on BAG then DIFFUSE (click in the texture map icon or folder icon) then LOAD TEXTURE, find your artword and load. You can also use OPEN TEXTURE and paste your artwork.

3D tools (Please check the QUICK TOUR tutorial) You can rotate to find the perfect view for your scene. Be sure to pick the model layer, before starting using the 3D tools, then select in the TOOL BOX the 3D tool you need (01). (3D axis tool interface to rotate (02), scale...and more

Transparent bag 1 To make a transparent bag, check the sample attach in the folder SAMPLE FINISH open transparent bag.psd

Transparent bag 2 In diffuse map place a product picture with the label, then copy this 2 shapes to opacity map and filled with white color, they must be exactly in the exactly position to work correctly.

Opacity map works like a mask channel, black hide, and white show.

Floor reflection If you want to show the bag reflected in the floor, you must activate in the 3D material list the floor opacity.

In Opacity box (03) place 100%. In reflection box (04) place 100% To view bag reflection you need to render scene, check last step.

Fading floor to background place a new layer above filled with 30% gray, run several test with different levels of gray, close and save. In diffuse click on the box to change floor color (02).

In Opacity click on folder icon, make a NEW TEXTURE (01), make it square with 500 pixels at 72dpi filled black, OPEN TEXTURE and draw a circle in center filled with white, them go to Filter (top menu) blur 20%,

Render the final picture After concluding the customizing process, you need to render the final picture, where you can see the soft shadows, reflections... To do that you must go to 3D scene to change render settings, change Quality to Ray traced Final, follow the pink dots, from top to bottom and let the computer render the scene.
