LOVE GOD Do not fret because of the wicked; do not be envious of wrongdoers, for they will soon fade like the grass, and wither like the green herb. Trust in the Lord, and do good; so you will live in the land, and enjoy security. Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him, and he will act. He will make your vindication shine like the light, and the justice of your cause like the noonday. Psalm 37:1-6 NRSV SERVE OTHERS

CHANGE THE WORLD

The Passion Service on Good Friday at 7 PM in the Sanctuary embodies the sharp contrasts of Holy Week. In this service you will be immersed musically and scripturally in what it would have felt like in the days leading up to Jesus’ crucifixion. The story will be supported by the music of composers like Handel, Mendelssohn, Mozart, Pärt, and Orff. Journey with us, receive holy communion with us in honor of the last supper, and leave in anticipation of what’s to come. There is no triumph without suffering, no crown without a cross. Join us for Easter Services Saturday Evening at 5 PM in the Coker Chapel or Sunday Morning at 8, 9:30 or 11 AM in the Sanctuary.(Note: The 9:30 AM Service will be a Traditional-Contemporary Blend).

Please prayerfully consider supporting CAM through today's mission moment offering as they minister to the "least of these."

Hearts In Tune

Most Thursday mornings, you’ll find the Coker women’s choir Hearts in Tune, directed by Lovena Miller singing for residents of area senior living facilities and nursing homes. The choir sings a couple of anthems, then encourages residents to join in the sing-along, then we sing our farewell, greet attendees, and we’re back on the Coker bus. If you’re available for a couple hours on Thursday mornings and enjoy bringing joy to others, we’d like you to join us. Warm up is at 9:15 in the choir room, we depart at 9:30, and return to Coker by 11:00 a.m. Contact Lovena Miller, (210) 602-5683 or lovenamiller@att.net.
