A GREAT FAMILY BEACH AT SAWTELL - BELOW: COFFS CREEK BOARDWALK

Find it all by foot or cycle. Commencing at the Botanic Gardens, follow the boardwalk along Coffs Creek, and continue down to the harbour and Coffs Jetty. There’s a marina full of whale watching, cruise and charter boats waiting for you to board. Coffs is surrounded by some of NSW’s best beaches. Start out at Sawtell to the city’s south and explore Diggers, Sapphire, Moonee and Emerald Beach to the north. Surfing, fishing, diving, canoeing and boating for those who like to get out on the water – or endless sands and quiet inlets for those who just like to walk, wade and let time drift away. Big festivals and events are an intrinsic part of the Coffs lifestyle. Each September, the Coffs International Buskers and Comedy Festival brings to town some of the best pavement performers from around Australia and the world. In July, the Short Sharp Film Festival rolls out the red carpet for cinematic treats from far and wide. Art lovers will enjoy the high quality exhibitions at Coffs Regional Gallery and the cartoon oriented collection stowed at the historic Bunker Gallery (an original World War II bunker on City Hill).
