Cross-Functional The Cross-Functional option enables you to pursue an MBA in your own way. This option is ideal for the more experienced manager or the management-oriented student needing broad-based knowledge of a variety of management topics. Students choose this option if they want the utmost flexibility in designing a custom curriculum that fits their personal educational, career or professional needs. Under the Cross-Functional option students select five courses in addition to completing the Core Curriculum. It is their choice as to which courses are selected. The Cross-Functional option also works well for students who want to develop more specific crossdiscipline knowledge. In this case, they choose courses that combine two or more specializations that meet their personal, career or professional needs. The following are examples of possible curriculum customizations: If you are interested in Health Care Marketing, you might take a combination of courses from the Health Services and Marketing Management concentrations. To focus on International Finance, a combination of electives from Global Business and Corporate Finance may be selected. If your interests are in International Distribution, you may decide to complete your electives from the Supply Chain Management and Global Business concentrations. To pursue an interest in Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), courses from the Human Resource Management and Information Technology concentrations may be completed. Degree Type
