Representing the interests of commercial Supporting Members and British schools overseas, COBIS plays an active role with UKTI, the Department of Business Innovation and Skills, British Council, Department for Education and other key stakeholders. Through consultation meetings with Ministers and government policy groups and direct lobbying, COBIS, on behalf of its members, has contributed to the British Government’s ‘Industrial Strategy for International Education’. This strategy sets out a detailed framework to drive the UK’s global growth and prosperity in the highly competitive International Education sector.
