NO COASTER OR SURFLINER There will be no Coaster or Amtrak Pacific Surfliner service in San Diego County on the weekend of Feb. 25 and Feb. 26, as part of ongoing infrastructure improvements along the coastal rail corridor. Additional closures are scheduled for March 11 and March 12, March 25 and March 26, April 29 and April 30 and May 20 and May 21. Southbound Amtrak 796 and 592 (both Rail-2-Rail trains), scheduled to depart Oceanside on the Friday nights preceding each weekend at 10:19 p.m. and 11:57 p.m., will terminate in Oceanside unless otherwise announced.
