Meaningful elements that tell your love story Weddings are no longer just events; they’ve become fully designed experiences with a cohesive visual identity. The guest experience begins with the invitations and continues through the wedding weekend, right down to the last ‘thank you’ note sent post honeymoon. Stationers take the unique elements of a couple’s love story and translate them into a curated intentional experience that celebrates the couple. Couples are moving away from templated purchased design suites and instead moving toward details that feel deeply personal and story-driven. So now the real question is, how do you translate your love story to your wedding? This is where I come in! Stationers specialize in curating a wedding that is authentic, personal, and experiential. Next, brain dump 10-20 words that describe your love story! Note your desired wedding season, colors you love, wedding party, and translate that into your vision. If you’re a mood board girly, go ahead and make one! Now, ask your fiance to do the same! This part is so valuable because you can identify the things you both share a love for in your life, which should absolutely be included in your wedding! If you both are obsessed with the beach, consider an airy and coastal feel for your wedding. If you both love to hike, maybe a more earthtone, botanical, or organic feel is appropriate. Start talking through styles and unique elements that represent your love story and what makes you, you. Second, choose your venue and wedding planner! Yes, I’m a stationer telling you to book your venue and your wedding planner first. Seems backwards? It’s not, and here’s why. You need to know your aesthetic and what you want your wedding to feel like first. People are visual and you want your venue to feel like home, somewhere that has character, charm, and is a place you would frequent. This will naturally help you decide on a color palette, tone, and guest list.
