oy was May tough for our cobia anglers this year, but Team Angry Seas brought for fish to the scale with a three fish aggregate weight of 84.43! Congratulations to Captain Michael “Gibby” Gwiazda and Luke Thatcher, your 2017 Northeast Florida Ultimate Cobia Championship Winners – nice work! It will be interesting to see what this summer brings with the winter being so mild and not much of a significant change in water temperature. The Jacksonville Offshore Sport Fishing Club’s Junior Angler tournament will take place June 10th with our kingfish tune up pushing into July this year. It will take place on the 8th of July. While club tournaments are for members and their guests, meetings are always open to the public and you can join while you are there! We will meet on the 1st and 15th this month, (always the 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month) and would love to have you join us. We

have dinner about 7:00, a little club business after that, then a guest speaker and a raffle. Children are welcome and encouraged as this is a family club!
