ESSAY. Explain in 100 words or less why you want to run for the position and the key points of your platform. When I was in highschool student council, I discovered my passion for service. Knowing what I would take in the future would be in Media and the Creative Arts, I encompass love and passion for the organizations under this cluster. With my passion to serve and the love I have for the organizations, I know that I will be committed to MCA. My vision for MCA is Empowerment through Service and Solidarity. With these in mind, I'm prepared to strengthen their communication, empower them through more effective systems, enhance their passion for the arts, and make the orgs more visible.

shows, watching mind-boggling movies and reading science fiction books. I am fond of editing videos, as well. I also like doing physical activity. Lastly, I enjoy interacting with different kinds of people and making new friends.

III. PLATFORM Main vision: Service + Solidarity = EMPOWERMENT 1)

Main Point: Reinforcement of Effective Communication Systems Details: - Transparency with constant posting of minutes from the CB meetings and effective information dissemination through texts, facebook, emails and an MCA newsletter -Consistency with hearing out the concerns of the organizations and the opinions of the presidents through face-toface meetings as much as needed, such as twice a month, and more IC's with the presidents -Constant communication for updates, planning and support with whatever they need through texts and facebook -More open communication by reformatting cluster communication systems, not just for formalities of updates and planning, but also for their concerns, ideas and whatever problems they are encountering which can result to better relationships -Follow through with the orgs' concerns, meaning not just with hearing out what they have to say but doing something about them -Be an effective "middleman" between the orgs and the administrative offices by being available to whatever help they will need with dealing with them, as well as hearing out their concerns with the offices to aid in fixing them

Main Point: Sustainability of the Four Organizations Details: -Develop the org members' leadership skills through leadership trainings -Expand their knowledge on the systems that they will need all throughout the year such as how to deal with the different offices through training -Enhancement the org members' talents and skills through workshops and encouragement talks -Strengthen and develop their passions for the arts through talks from professionals in their fields and through talent workshops wherein they are free to share their talents to others by teaching them, if needed for development -Bring together the organizations by encouraging them to assist each other whenever needed with any of their projects -Unite the four orgs with two main bonding sessions per sem where there is a definite program which contains all of their interests, especially regarding to the arts, and where each of the orgs can interact through games and common interests and passions, and also just regular outings to bond anytime throughout the year

Main Point: Efficient Management of Money Details: -Establish a year-long directory of potential sponsors for availability to any of the orgs if ever there is a need for money for their projects -Finance talks for more knowledge on how to effectively handle their money -Transparency on the budget for MCA events by updating each of the organizations where the money will be spent on, but with all of their consents and asking for their ideas on it beforehand

Main Point: Visibility of the Four Organizations and MCA Details: -Showcasing of each org's talent and MCA as a whole through MCA week and a year-end concert -Reconstruct the systems of MCA week and year-end concert in such a way that the orgs will not have separate objectives but strive to achieve one certain goal, such as integrating their talents into one event -Tie ups with Comm Department and School of Humanities will allow them to be more visible and build more effective systems and skills

-Revamp the identity of MCA through branding, where the orgs will not just be known as creative people or other impressions such as "hipster" and the like, but more than that. MCA can be represented as the Heart of Art of the Ateneo, but fused with other good culture of MCA.
