Central Board Elections 2009-2010: Electoral Form

You are allowed to have more than four (4) Main Points. USE PROPER FORMAT. Strictly ONE (1) LINE ONLY for each Main Point and NO MORE THAN SEVEN (7) LINES for the Details. Note: A sentence does not automatically correspond to one line. 1)

Main Point: Establishing ties among COA counterparts of other universities. Details: This will serve as an avenue for COA's stakeholders to assess their performance in their respective organizations in contrast to their counterparts in other universtities. This avenue will happen in terms of a convention, wherein presidents of organizations of different universities will get to have an open dialogue and engage in fruitful conversation with participants. With this possible, the participants will see their performances and assess organizational development concerning each of them.

2)

Main Point: Ensuring a clear understanding and strict implementation on the right and responsibilities of COA's stakeholders and to the Central Board. Details: Enforcing the COA's constitution and COA Code of Internal Procedures to the COA Central board and Council of Representatives will help fulfull the tasks and degree of responsibility given to each one. In addition, COA will become not only as an "open-forum" but a governing body with an active engagement by the officers and its' members to the council. Policies like cuts from meetings and absences on official COA event will be reprimanded and called for attention by the COA Executive Board. With these actions, it would help them grasp the enormity of the situation and be at a level that each one bears an important role.

3)

Main Point: Establish COA not only an exclusive council to the Presidents but also by including the executive board of each organization to be part of the relationship between CHeST and President. Details: The Cluster Head and Secretary-Treasurers are indeed a touchpoint of the COA Central board to its' stakeholders. Therefore, it is important to level-off the relationship made by the current CHeST to the upcoming ones. With that, upon the establishment of these relationships, it is important that COA caters more than the COR. Expanding these relationships of the CHeST to the respective Exectuive Boards of each organization will help COA on its brand equity and make easier transitory education to each upcoming president and executive boards. Hence, this would foster inter-org collaboration.

4)

Main Point: Maximize the roles of the newly formed committees (SIC, SAC, PAIN) to the Council of Representatives and to the Ateneo administration. Details: The three new committees has been formed to address the needs called for by the organizations, administrations, and the COA Presidents itself. For the coming year, the SIC, SAC, PAIN will take a step further their responsibilities by making them be recognized to the organizations. This will be possible by crafting the projects targeted not only the the CB but for the COR as well.
