ESSAY. Explain in 100 words or less why you want to run for the position and the key points of your platform. I am running because I believe I can be of service to the different organizations of the Science and Technology Cluster (STC). With my running mate Joy, I can help STC organizations fulfill their potential by re-aligning the goals of the cluster to reflect that of individual of the different organizations. If elected, my goal for the cluster is to re-establish is significance in organizations and in the Ateneo Community through our 3 point program, Integration, Visibility and Management.

Main Point: Visibility Impact and Relevance Details: This aims to break the notion of science as a difficult field and to promote that the said discipline is relevant and beneficial to nation-building. In order to achieve this the Sci-Tech Week will be continued where STC organizations can showcase the relevance and impact of their specific fields. In addition, the launch of the Sci-Tech Week will be made grander to maximize impact. Also, the identity of the cluster may be promoted through collaborative projects such as Beat the Geeks. Other projects that may be implemented are making of cluster shirts and a cluster website may be explored with the presidents.

Main Point: Integration Integrate vision, mission goals of the different organizations to that of the STC. Details: Integrate the Vision and Mission (VM) and Goals of the various STC organizations to form the VM and the goals of the cluster. Through this, the aim is so that it is the cluster that will provide support for the organizations and not the other way around. Moreover, this serves to fulfill the function of the cluster as a representative of the organizations.

Main Point: Management Management of the Human Resources Details: Individual consultations with the different presidents of the cluster most especially regarding the mid-year and YES reports. EB GAs will be held to promote an awareness between the different organizations of the organizations and to promote the sharing of tips and practices between officers of similar roles. Closer supervision regarding the status of STEPS.
