Central Board Elections 2009-2010: Electoral Form

II. PLATFORM

1)

Main Point: Unity and camaraderie within the community along with the visibility of FFC

Details: I envision FFC being more visible to the cluster itself and to the greater Ateneo community. I plan to do this by planning more engaging activities such as regular EB mixers, get-togethers, sports fests and the like. These events would not only be centered to presidents but also to the Executive board and even to the organizations’ members. Through these events, I aspire to increase active participation in the cluster, and more importantly, foster a better sense of community among the cluster. After unifying and strengthening the cluster, I plan to increase connection and visibility of FFC to the greater Ateneo community through LS-wide events such as the FFC week. 2)

Main Point: Putting faith in action I envision FFC being more relevant to the cluster and even to other organizations by providing means of putting the cluster’s faith into action. Long have we known that having God in our lives means a lot more than having a personal relationship with Him but also encouraging others to do the same. I plan to do this by increasing the importance of the organizations’ apostolate. Moreover, I plan to put faith in action by creating a program geared at deepening the spirituality of organizations outside the cluster. This would be a program putting together the core competencies of the cluster’s organizations and will be done in coordination with CMO. Through this we are able to put that faith into action and make faith more relevant

3)

Main Point: Improving Cluster Connection I envision FFC providing more means of better connection and representation to its member organizations. It has been a practice that the only liaison of the organization to the cluster is the president giving him or her more work more things to worry about and hence more hassle. Thus, I plan to improve connection with the cluster and lessen the workload of the president by creating a new position, the FFC deputies. This would be a new avenue of leadership and formation for aspiring leaders of the organizations, as well as, a means of exposure to COA. The FFC deputies will be part of the planning and execution of events, as well as, the representatives of the organizations together with the presidents.

4)

Main Point: Re-envisioning the role of FFC Cluster Head I envision FFC having a revolutionized role of Cluster Head. My agenda encapsulates what I seek to do, that is, to transform the role of the Cluster Head. I aspire to push the cluster to the right direction. Being cluster head is not limited to just uniting the cluster, it is more than that. I aim to uphold better representation, administration and formation making sure that the best interest of the cluster is addressed.
