彼得兔的故事 《彼得兔的故事》是英國作家暨插畫家碧雅翠絲 • 波特(Beatrix Potter)的作品。彼得兔這個名字 來自波特小姐童年時所飼養的一隻兔子。一八九三 年,波特小姐為了安慰一個生病的男孩,編了彼 得兔的故事寫在信裡寄給他,這就是故事的雛形。 一九○二年,《彼得兔的故事》繪本正式發行,結 果大受歡迎,後來她又陸續出版五本和彼得兔有關 的童書,每個故事都搭配她親手繪製的精美插圖, 深受讀者喜愛,彼得兔的系列故事即使歷經百年依 舊魅力不減,堪稱經典兒童文學作品。
