New Hours for the Newport Fishing Pier Starting Sa turda y, August 10, 2013 the f ollowing hours will be in ef fect a t the Newport Fishing Pier Sunda y through Sa turday, 6:00 a.m. to midnight Additionall y, the f ollowing fees will be charged: • $5 per person to fish without a Resident ID Card • $2 per person to fish when you show your valid Sunny Isles Beach Resident ID Card • $2 per person for all to enjoy the pier past the entrance gate without fishing SPECIAL LIMITED TIME OFFER – Sunny Isles Beach Residents with a valid Sunny Isles Beach Resident ID Card will have non-fishing access for FREE (a $2.00 per person value!) when they show their valid resident id card between August 10, 2013 through February 10, 2014. To get your valid Sunny Isles Beach Resident ID card to enjoy this benefit and others, visit Pelican Community Park at 18115 North Bay Road or the Visitor Center at 18070 Collins Avenue and bring your picture id and a recent utility bill. BEACH PATRONS BEWARE! City Code does not permit glass bottles or containers on the beach. This code, Section 201, is to insure a safe and clean, natural beach environment for all residents and visitors to enjoy. Notice is posted on the signs at all Beach Access points and Samson Oceanfront Park. Please be sure to comply with all City Codes to keep our city safe and attractive for the pleasure of all.
