Ford first title sponsor for Great Taste of the Grove

The Arabian Nights

Dueling drumsticks, the flash of a flute, clashing cymbals and thundering drums create the story of our heroine Scheherazade’s adventure with the misguided King. TALES & SCALES actively weaves the story together with music, musictelling and creative movement in an unforgettable performance! Come early to play the musical instrument petting zoo. Instructors from Allegro Music Center will help the children. Have fun at the Apple Juice, Balloons & Cookies party hosted by playful Peter the Mime/Clown.

Great music for great kids!

Kicking off the 2010 festival season, the official Ford Motor Company’s Great Taste of the Grove will take place on Saturday, Jan. 9, and Sunday, Jan. 10, at Peacock Park. “We’re extremely pleased to welcome Ford as the first-ever title sponsor of the Great Taste of the Grove,” said Monty Trainer, co-chair of this year’s event. “This landmark deal led by [Miami] Commissioner Marc Sarnoff is a testament to the growth of the Great Taste of the Grove over the past 20 years and its increasing viability

as an innovative marketing platform for brands looking to reach and connect with key demographics.” Ford Motor Company is participating in the 2010 The Great Taste of the Grove via “Operation Goodwill,” which works within the community to foster volunteerism, education, automotive safety, and enriching the lives of the less fortunate. During the two-day festival, several new vehicles will be onsite displaying Ford’s commitment to safety, innovation, and technology.
