God of blessing, look kindly upon our world as we begin this new year of grace. Bless all those who work for peace and drive out from the hearts of all your children any temptation to take up arms against another. Mary, our mother, bless us with peace. Amen

Today we remember the three wise men from the East who came to pay homage to the infant Jesus, bringing Him rich gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh. The gifts we bring - our time, service, and some share of what we earn for the work we do - are equally precious in His sight. The flowers are plentiful thanks to all the people who donated money for them. You helped our Church become a visual festive image of Christmas joy.
