About ABT This Applied Business Technology—Administrative Assistant Program offers students a certificate that is in high demand. Students will learn valuable technical skills in The Microsoft Office Suite, manual and computerized bookkeeping, and clerical skills. Students will also learn communication, professionalism, and a variety of interpersonal skills through various classes. Put your new skills and ability to the test in real-life work experience. Participate in an exciting work practicum where you will log over 100 hours of experience. The practicum deepens the students understanding of the knowledge gained throughout the course. The practicum is a three-way partnership among the College, the student, and a host employer where practical experience is gained in an actual office environment.
