IOSH Safety for Senior Executives

Aims: To provide all staff with relevant health & safety information in order for them to fully understand their responsibilities as per the Company Safety Statement and relevant Health & Safety Legislation To ensure each participant fully completes the training to the required IOSH standard in order to attain Certification.

Aims: To provide Senior Executives within your organisation with an understanding of their health and safety role. To give an understanding of how a Senior Executive should influence strategic thinking and holistic risk management systems/procedures.

Objective: Through the use of Visual Presentation, PowerPoint, Group Exercises, Group Discussions, Quiz Exercises and completion of formal Assessment: Participants will acquire a foundation level knowledge in Health & Safety IOSH MANAGING SAFELY CERTIFICATE TRAINING PROGRAMME Aims: To provide managers with relevant Health & Safety information in order for them to fully understand their responsibilities as per the company Safety Management System and Health & Safety Legislation To ensure each participant fully completes the training to the required IOSH standard in order to attain Certification. Michelle has 15 years experience within the Environmental Health & Safety field both within Ireland and the UK. Michelle’s varied industry experience includes; healthcare, facilities & property management, consultancy in a number of industries, pharmaceutical, financial, commercial, retail, warehousing, oil production and construction. Michelle has an MSc in Environmental & Occupational Health & Safety Management, with a number of safety certificates and a Diploma in Legal Studies. She is a Chartered Safety and Health Practitioner.

Yvette has 10 years experience in Environmental Health & Safety as a consultant in industries such as construction, leisure, retail, homecare, warehousing, transport and logistics. She has many years experience carrying out training for clients and compiling training programmes. Yvette has acted as PSCS and PSDP on numerous projects and has successfully implemented ISO:14001, ISO:9001 and OHSAS:18001 for a number of clients.

Sabine has Health & Safety experience in many different fields ranging from laboratory and manufacturing to commercial and retail. She is proficient in providing Health & Safety training and compiling site specific documentation including the implementation of ISO standards, safety statements and construction stage safety plans. Sabine has experience implementing integrated Environmental, Health & Safety systems, supporting programmes and KPI’s for a global manufacturer and has a proven track record of significantly improving site safety.

Cyril is a Health and Safety professional specialising in consultancy and training with over 8 years experience. He is a graduate member of IOSH and holds a Diploma in Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (Honours) from the University of Limerick. He is an experienced trainer and holds a Certificate in Training and Continuing Education from NUI Maynooth. Cyril also holds diplomas in Business and Employment Law. He has successfully developed and delivered various training courses including Manual Handling, Fork Truck and Safety Representative. He has provided consultancy and training to a variety of organisations from SMEs to Multinationals. The industry sectors that Cyril has experience in include, construction, leisure, retail, transport, manufacturing and services.
