I WOULD LIKE TO PARTNER WITH OTHER SMALL BUSINESSES AND LOCALS TO DO SPECIAL EVENTS, FROM NUTRITION INFO SESSIONS TO SHOPPING EVENTS.” creating the mental benefits similarly obtained by the practice of yoga or meditation. Is Pure Barre for all types of athletes? rp : Absolutely — Pure Barre is a low-impact workout that focuses on small isometric movements that can be done by men and women of all shapes, sizes and ages. As long as you can hold onto the ballet barre, you can do Pure Barre. No dancing experience is required. In fact, many of our clients do Pure Barre in addition to their favorite activities, including skiing, running and golfing, to name a few, as they testify that it makes them stronger, faster, better in those activities. If you also have physical limitations, due to past surgeries, preexisting medical conditions or are recovering from an injury, Pure Barre is a safe and effective exercise as modifications can be made for most exercises to fit your needs. Just talk with your teacher and she will work diligently with you to provide proper modifications. vvh :

What are some of the new things or highlights that you are implementing at the studio currently — through spring and even summer? rp : We currently are in the middle of our Pure Resolution 2015 Challenge that started January 10, which is to complete 20 classes in 30 days, so all those who complete the challenge will receive some great discounts on retail and classes. We will be doing “Challenges” more vvh :

frequently throughout the year as they are a great way to challenge yourself while creating camaraderie and support in our community. Also, we will be offering special classes more frequently, such as intensive classes, which are 75-90 minutes, that may target one or more specific areas of the body with that additional time. Another special class we offer monthly is our “Breaking Down the Barre” class which is a free class for all clients, new or veterans, that involves more in depth explanation of the various exercises, hands-on corrections of technique and open Q&A. What are you looking forward to creating at this studio, in terms of community involvement, client base, retail, etc.

rp : My main focus this year is to get Pure Barre more involved in our local community by participating in and hosting events to support our small businesses and local non-profits. I plan to organize several community service events for our clients and staff to participate in together to create a stronger community outside of the studio. I also would like to partner with other small businesses and locals to do special events, from nutrition info sessions to shopping events. We are so lucky to have such a wonderful small community of businesses and charitable organizations, so I hope to form many community partnerships and make new friends in the process.

Shades of Santa Fe in the Best Way. This charming single family home has four bedrooms and three and a half baths, sun filled rooms overlooking Arrowhead ski area and the mountains. Large decks open to Deeded open space. Two car garage. Every important feature is new: windows, trim, exterior stucco, paint, heating and water system and a state of the art master bath. The roof is excellent. Yet the imagination of real Santa Fee tile and artistry may be found throughout. This is a home for a family who loves open space and good times together.
