The Layton Companies Donates $10,000 CMiC Innovation Award Money to the Huntsman Cancer Foundation The Layton Companies, based in Sandy, Utah, donated the $10,000 CMiC Innovation Award money to the Huntsman Cancer Foundation. In a surprise move during the ceremony, David Layton donated an additional $10,000 to the Huntsman Cancer Foundation to match the initial gift.

Julie and David Layton cut the ribbon at the waiting room named in their honor at the Huntsman Cancer Foundation in Salt Lake City, UT. The Layton Companies donated their $10,000 CMiC Innovation Award money to the Foundation.

CMiC Quarterly Connect Spring 2009

For their continued commitment and generosity, The Huntsman Cancer Foundation named the waiting room after David and Julie Layton. Bassem Hamdy, vice president of solutions at CMiC, attended the ceremony and donated the Innovation Award money to the Huntsman Cancer Foundation on behalf of the Layton Companies. The Layton Companies won 1st place in the CMiC 2008 Innovation Awards for the Concrete Scorecard, a graphical representation of the performance of concrete projects. The Innovation Awards took place at CMiC Connect in Chicago in September 2008.

Andy first started with CMiC in 1994 and has held various positions within the organization over the past 15 years. He has in-depth knowledge of the business and technical aspects of CMiC software and his experience with the construction industry and his familiarity with our client community make him uniquely suited to lead CMiC Support to enhance customer service and increase customer satisfaction.
