Fife Council’s Road Report – sent a 1.50pm, Sunday 19 December Please find below the latest update from Fife Council's Alert Service. Councillor Gerry McMullan has asked that we send his email address out to the distribution list - Emails are issued regularly whenever information on School, Facility and Road closures are changed or updated. For further information please visit the on-line Closures Information at ROAD REPORT at 13:47 on 19/12/2010 Outbreaks of snow will affect the area this afternoon and this evening, these may be heavy at times. Becoming mainly dry after midnight, with only the odd light snow shower affecting the area thereafter. Accumulations of 5-10cm likely, with localised totals of 15cm, before midnight. No accumulations expected after midnight. Action ongoing on snow routes at present. A break in snowfall between 4pm and 7pm should allow Primary route treatment. 20g/m2 1:1 sand:salt @ 1700hrs.
