Indonesia is the biggest archipelago in the world that has 17.508 island, consisted of 5 big island. Sumatera, Java Borneo, Sulawesi, and Papua. There are at least 350 tribesand 483 ethnics languages. Indonesia consist of 34Provinces. One of them is Lampung that located in the South of Sumatra Island.


Lampung is a province of Indonesia It is located on the southern tip of the island of Sumatra and borders the provinces of Bengkulu and South Sumatra which lie to the north. Lampung is the original home of the Lampung people, who speak their own language and have their own alphabet. Its capital is Bandar Lampung.

The province had a population of 7,596,115 at the 2010 census the latest official estimate (as at January 2014) is 7,972,246. These migrants came on their initiative, in search of more land than was available on the more densely populated islands, and as part of the national government's transmigration program, for which Lampung was one of the earliest and most significant transmigration destinations


` Bandar Lampung (Lampung City in Malay) is the capital and a major economic hub in the province of Lampung on the southern tip of Sumatra island, Indonesia. It was called Tanjungkarang-Telukbetung, the names of the two major sections of the city, before being renamed in 1983. For immigrants and travelers from Java, the city is the entry point to Sumatra, especially before the construction of the major harbor at Bakauheni, just south of Bandar Lampung. Bandar Lampung is served by the domestic Radin Inten II Airport, with flights to Jakarta located northwest of the city. The city and South Lampung Regency (which borders the city on its northern and eastern sides) are major transmigrasi recipients for those seeking respite from the crushing population densities and traffic nightmare of Jakarta, yet able to take advantage of proximity. As such, its population composition is far more cosmopolitan for a provincial capital of its size


The series of traditional ceremony in the region always involved activities in arts. Consequently traditional art in the region was supported by traditional rules on the community which were very much obeyed. Traditional classical dances of the Lampung region were displayed on traditional events such as wedding ceremonies, visitors welcome ceremonies, installation of title ceremonies (cakak pepadun) etc. This traditional dances was accompanied by musical instrument such as “kelintang Lampung”, “Talo and Rebana” or “melinting”.

The Lampung people, also commonly referred to as Ulun Lampung, are an ethnic group indigenous to Lampung province and parts of South Sumatra province of the southern and central region that occupy areas such as Martapura, Muaradua at upstream of Komering River, Kayu Agung, Tanjung Raja at downstream of Komering River, Merpas on the southern side of Bengkulu province, as well as Cikoneng in the southwest coast of Banten province, Indonesia. They speak the Lampung language, a Lampungic language estimated to have 1.5 million speakers, and for your information there are many Lampung People can not speak in English, so you can bring dictionary or use Body Languange to ask something.

WAYKAMBAS ZOO Way Kambas National Park is located in Lampung province, South Sumatra, Indonesia. This national Park is consisting of forest and preservation for Sumatran tigers and elephant sanctuary. This park also becomes a breeding center or Sumatran Rhino Sanctuary (SRS) that has been build up in 1995. Way Kambas National Park is a representative of the lowland forest ecosystem consisting of freshwater swamp forest, meadow grass, and coastal forests in Sumatra.

WAY LALAAN WATERFALL Way Lalaan is a constitution gradually waterfall that have 200 m distance of one to others, from the flow of Way Lalaan river which mouth of a river to Semangka Bay. This location is in foot Valley of Tanggamus Mountain which just 2 Km from the Central Government of Tanggamus region or 80 Km from Bandar Lampung. This waterfall was unknowable since 1937 in Dutch Colonial Government, which make the cement ladder to waterfall valley. The facilities available are shelter.

PESAGI MOUNTAIN Those who love to challenge themselves and hike the highest point must be visit the Pesagi Mt. This mountain is the highest point at West Lampung district and it is located in Belalau district. This mountain area has also been developed as a natural tourist attraction called Pekon Hujung. Pesagi Mt is located in the district of Balik Bukit, Liwa, West Lampung, and this is the highest mountain in Lampung, that reaches a height of 2,262 m.


CURUP TUJUH WATERFALL Margajaya village in Lampung has a stunning natural beauty. The village is located in Central Lampung that most of the inhabitants are farmers and teachers. In addition to its natural attractions, the agro tourism is also abundantly wealthy. Curug Tujuh Waterfall is one of the natural attractions in the Margajaya village, District Selagai Lingga, Central Lampung. The name curug Tujuh or seven waterfall is taken from the waterfall has seven levels, that reached 75 meters high. To go to Curug Tujuh is can be reached within 2 hours from Mount Sugih by using four wheel drive vehicles and two-wheeler.

BUKIT BARISAN NATIONAL PARK Bukit Barisan Selatan National Park (BBSNP) or the South Bukit Barisan National Park is administratively settled in three provinces area in Sumatra, which is in Lampung, South Sumatra and Bengkulu. This national park becomes Wildlife Sanctuary since 1935, while it becomes area of National Park was in 1982. Initially, South Bukit Barisan Park covered a total area of 356,800 hectares, but recent measurements using GIS recorded that the latest total area is in fact 324,000 hectares. The park is located at the southwest end of Sumatra.

GRAND ELTY KRAKATOA RESORT Popular as Grand Elty Krakatoa Resort, this area was known as Kalianda Resort, and it located in Kalianda Village, South Lampung. KRUI BEACH Krui is the capital of the West Coast District that located in the coastal areas of the Indian Ocean. As a coastal area, Krui has tourism potential, especially for beach tourism. Krui is famous as a tourist destination for foreign tourists that primary going for surfing. Not only Bali island, Krui is also the perfect place that has a stunning beauty for surfing and sea lovers.

GISTING BATU KERAMAT REGION Plateau area of Gisting and Batu Keramat contain a beautiful potency where from height of this area place we can enjoy cold air of mountain with view of workload of Semangka Bay decorated with giant oil tankers and fishing boat and also Kota Agung seaport. Located only 4 Km of Center Governance of Tanggamus Regency.

Pahawang has a lot of potential beauty, in case of scenery, the hills of green trees, white sand beaches and crystal clear sea water that will refreshing your mind. KILUAN BAY BEACH

KRAKATAU ISLAND On 1959, this island was have its eruption again and it was releasing hot black smoke from the crater for about 600 m height, together with other volcanic activities. After the eruption, this island is getting higher 7-9 meter per year. Anak Krakatau Island is apparently included in the Krakatau Nature Reserve, which is overseen by the Agency for Natural Resources Conservation Lampung.

In the world, there are only limited locations to see wild dolphin encounter. HOW HOWTO TOGO GOTO TOLAMPUNG LAMPUNG FROM YOUR COUNTRY For the first time you have to fly to Jakarta exactly to the Soekarno Hatta International Airport. After that you can book a plane ticket back to the airport Raden Intan, Lampung. Ticket prices you have to pay towards Bandar Lampung about 40$, with a period of 30-45 minutes. But if you want cheaper, you can use the ship from the Port of Merak with a ticket price of 2$, but the distance that you have to pass a longer which is about 2 hours and you have to connect with the bus to Bandar Lampung for 3 hours.

OUR PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION

Ojek (the motorcycle taxis) consist of guys with bikes lounging around street corners who usually shuttle short distances down alleys and roads but will also do longer trips for a price. Agree on the fare before you set off. The price around 5000-20000 Rupiah depends on how far your destination. Insist on a helmet to them, and wear it properly. But don’t worry Lampung have Ojek online so you cn order it by your phone. You can dowload this application from your smartphone, we call it OTO-JEK

Trans Bandar Lampung is the best public transportation in Bandar Lampung. The flat fare is Rp 5000 – Rp 6000. You can pay your fares, while others man employee or a conductor who will personally collect the fares from passengers. The facility of this bus is air conditioner and good seat. You can stop by every bus in some places.

Angkot (small vans) is a one of public transportation in Lampung. Angkot have different colours based on its route. In Bandar lampung there are 10 colour of angkot. Angkot can take upto 12 pesangger in it. The flat fare is Rp 4.000 – Rp 5000. There are no air conditioner in angkot. You pay the fare directly to the driver after getting off.


KARTINI STREET It is a place where you can find so many street food from vendors. You can find unique Indonesian food like fried rice, chicken noodles, sea food, porridge and many more! Almost all of them are quite cheap, they usually will open at 6 pm until midnight.

PKOR Here you will find so many vendors that sell so many snack with very cheap price, like baked corn, toast bread, wedang jahe, porridge, cotton candy,martabak, and many more!

In Bandarlampung you can find so many clothes with cheap price in traditional market called “ Bambu Kuning”, or you can find the other clothes with some brands in Supermall like “Central Plaza”, “Chandra Department Store”, “Boemi Kedaton Mall”, and “Center Point Mall”.

PU STREET In PU street you can find many shop which sell traditinal cheaps from lampung. That cheap is banana cheap which have many flavor in there like strawberry, chocolate, and etc, and you can find coffe.

BOEMI KEDATON MALL

Boemi Kedaton Mall is one of biggest malll in Bnadar Lampung. In there, you can find many store with different things. If you want to watch movie, sing, eat pizza, or anotherinternational fod, buy clothes or bag with high class brand you can come to here.

In Central Plaza, its similliar with Boemi Kedaton Mall but with smaller build. But don’t worry you can find too many shop store with the branded things, watch a movie, or just sing in karoke store.

Through interacting with people with non-contagious illness, we aim to improve their emotional well being. By taking their stories, we aim to connect them with the rest of the local communities and reduce the stigma towards illnesses in society. Workshops and activities will be run to the local communities to educate and encourage them towards taking up active healthy lifestyles. We will measure the effectiveness of the activities to the local communities through surveys to participants about their engagement with healthy lifestyles and changed perceptions of the illness. Activities 1. You will be trained on current waste management systems and desired waste management practices in Indonesia that the project will drive, knowledge that you will teach back to local community members through activities. 2. Trash hunting at a land or water based location with people from the local community to clean up rubbish and document the experience. 3. Work with a local community to design a recycling initiative for the community (e.g. a mural made of recycled materials). 4. Design a campaign to reduce irresponsible consumption of plastic water bottles and plascti bags through documenting your experience on its negative impact on surrounding land and waters, and the people and animals that live in it. 5. Participation a cultural immersion + showcasing event and exploration event


This project aims to ignite Indonesians as socially responsible entrepreneurs by providing them a challenging and supportive space to design scalable solutions to existing problems in their community. The exchange participants, bringing in learnings from Indonesian SME and their own countries, will support and mentoring the participants to build ideas. The success of this project will be determined by the amount of business ideas being implemented following the program and aotudes of participants towards entrepreneurship. Deliver activities to local communities about the prevention of general illnesses through living healthy lifestyles (e.g. run morning exercise classes for students toparticipate in about the importance of exercise)

EDUCATION is the most fundamental thing in live, especially for children they need proper education in order to develop them selves. unfortunately most of people especially children in Indonesia do not get a proper education, most of them are living in poverty and lack of education. By this project we invite you to participate in our Education project, to help the children to be able to speak english and share the happiness with them.

Act Project focused on student to brave enough to speak english. Exchange Partcipants will be responsible for teaching English classes for 5 days in a week, and conducting cultural session for children and student aged from 14-18 years old. Intern will facilitate students to learn about intern’s culture through creativity class room activity and educational games.


HOW ?

The main Job description are : Intern facilitates students to learn the basics about the language as well as about intern's culture like traditional arts, customs, and country history through creative classroom activity and educational games. and also to boosts student's confidence in speaking English by becoming student's speaking partner during the class. Intern shares about education system in her/his country to teachers and he/she can learnabout educational system from the School. Both of intern and the school will have new knowledge and insight. Intern will be involved in school activities (extracurricular and sports), mingle with the students to encourage them to interact with foreign people, showing variety of world cultures.

Intern is required to participate in AIESEC LC Uniiversitas Lampung events and cross cultural understanding events, such as welcoming & farewell party, gathering, and global village during their internship period in Lampung. Intern will give motivation to the student for the next education.


Life at the Seashore Project is a project that focus on Education for children who lived at the coast. SMP Negeri 25 Pesawaran is one of the school nearby that help to educate and motivate the students to take higher education. Trainee will do the sharing session with students, motivate, and teaching english as well. In Saturday, trainee will go to Pulau Tegal to teach and discover the reality of unseen..

This project will be run in Tri Sukse Natar Senior High School. This school is locate d in Bandar Lampung. This school have 300 students with the age around 16-18 years old. This peoject will focused about how to build entreprenurship soul for them. This school have 5 km disctance from Bandar Lampung
