This horrible period of persecution ended when Galerius, on his deathbed, asked all Christians to pray to their God for his health. God did not grant his healing. This ended this terrible period of persecution. Then, a tremendous change occurred in the Roman Empire. Constantius Chlorus comes on the scene.
