So, let’s take the recent events as a little warning to you that we have to keep changing, we have to keep growing, keep developing, keep thinking differently, keep empowering our teams and allow them to step up; allow them to flap their wings and test what they can do when they have to. Nobody achieves great things when they find themselves trapped in a matchbox like a butterfly flapping their wings, so desperate to show you how beautiful they can be. The stories could come thick and fast; we have had deaths in our client families, whole offices burnt down to nothing but a pile of ash, marital breakdowns which have sent shockwaves and a ripple effect through the business which has taken years to recover from. Nothing surprises us anymore but one thing is for sure if you want to not merely survive through turbulent times, you have to expect that absolutely anything could happen, to anyone at any time.
