Tucked away amidst the crystal-clear waters of the Turks and Caicos, Parrot Cay is one of the most secluded and exclusive resort islands in the northern Caribbean.

Destination Turks and Caicos Although we think of the Caribbean as a collective destination, characters vary across islands, with some geared toward the typical resort experience and others striving to retain their classic, untouched charm. Cruise ships’ ports of call frequently play a factor. As one of the region’s more off-the-beaten path destinations, Turks and Caicos – in the northern Caribbean, not too far from Miami – doesn’t have the feel of a well-tread tourist destination. In fact, exploring this archipelago, you’ll encounter few high rises. For this atmosphere, COMO Hotels and Resorts selected Turks and Caicos for one of its curated properties, and in 1998, they opened a location on Parrot Cay, one of the country’s smaller cays and known for expansive stretches of white sandy beaches. Beyond the sands, the environment veers away from the expected, toward cacti and thick shrubs and lapping, gentle turquoise-colored waves. Not far from Rocky Point and located near the beach, the COMO property sits, centering around a whitewashed building with a coral pink roof and featuring tennis courts and accommodations nearby.
