With a comfortable yet sophisticated atmosphere, Top of the Hub has three basic portions: the 145-seat white tablecloth Restaurant, a 190-seat Lounge, and the Bar. Further, the facility’s equipped with three dining rooms considered one of the best places for corporate and private events in the city. With its reputation growing as a corporate event facility, Top of the Hub allows for multiple configurations of their private dining rooms to suit your occasion. Individually, each private room holds anywhere from 20 to 36 guests. For larger parties, the restaurant combines these three spaces to entertain up to 80 people. Anticipating a particularly large event? Ideal for full-service corporate, family, or benefit occasions, the SkyWalk offers the room for 50 to 600 sit-down guests or 1,000 for a cocktail party. Currently, the Marty Ballou Trio is regularly appearing at Top of the Hub. An in-demand jazz musician, Ballou has appeared on Sax Gordon’s “Have Horn Will Travel,” David Maxwell’s “Maximum Blues Piano,” and Greg Piccolo’s “Homage” and performed with many of the industry’s legends. Stopping by the Lounge means you’ll be treated to a professional-level performance by Ballou on Sunday and Monday evenings, along with an outstanding variety of talented musicians each night of the week. During its years as one of Boston’s places to dine and be seen, Top of the Hub’s won several accolades from major magazines and other noted media. Wine Spectator gave them the Award of Excellence from 1998 through 2015, while Distinguished

Restaurants of North America awarded them a similar distinction from 1998 through 2015. Locally, Improper Bostonian lists them as the place for “Drinks with a View” and the “Most Romantic Restaurant.” This latter characteristic has since been echoed by the Boston Phoenix and the city’s WHDH-TV.
