Opening. The opening of a bottle
of wine implies the first physical contact with its contents and a promise of those moments of pleasure, hopefully intense, that these contents will bring: a gesture loaded with anticipation, both serious and joyful. A cork-screw is a well-known and widespread object. Yet, just like a pocket knife, it is a personal one that should be chosen by everyone according to their particular taste and “feel”. Self-pulling system, winewaiter, levered or twin-blade, each and every cork-puller from L’Atelier du Vin is designed to deal with a different type of cork and opening. Whatever their functional differences, all these openers are designed to follow strict requisites: make the act of opening as easy as possible, respect the cork and the wine in the bottle.

Premier véritable contact physique avec la bouteille, promesse de moments agréables, voire inoubliables, l’ouverture est toujours un acte à la fois solennel et joyeux. Le tire-bouchon est l’un des outils les plus universels du monde ; pourtant, comme le couteau, c’est un objet personnel, que chacun(e) choisit en fonction de sa “ main “.
