Accommodation & Welfare While you study in Bournemouth, it is important that you are comfortable in your domestic environment, that you mix with as many native-speakers of English as possible, and absorb the local culture in your everyday activities. BBSI therefore offers various accommodation options to suit your personal requirements, including homestay accommodation, hotel and guest house accommodation and residential facilities.

Accommodation A popular tourist resort, Bournemouth offers a wide choice of accommodation. BBSI selects only quality accommodation that complies with the English UK Homestay Charter and Accreditation UK Guidelines.

Standard Homestay. One of the best ways to

‘acquire’ the English language outside the classroom and to experience the British culture is to live with a British family. BBSI homestay accommodation includes a comfortable single study/bedroom, and is available on a part-board basis (breakfast and evening meal MondayFriday, with full-board facilities (all meals) at weekends), or on a bed and breakfast or self-catering basis.

Executive Homestay. The executive homestay option provides accommodation in a high-quality home in an exclusive residential area, with study/bedrooms of above-average size and with en-suite/private bathroom facilities. Moreover, many of our executive rooms have television and Internet connection included.

Residential. BBSI provides a range of residential

accommodation on a self-catering, room only or bed and breakfast basis. Fees will vary according to location and room type. Full details are on our website.

Guest Houses & Hotels. BBSI can recommend several small, friendly guest houses and hotels close to our premises that would suit all budgets. You can choose a room with or without a private bathroom, and breakfast is included. Dinner can also be provided on request.

Welfare Facilities BBSI staff have developed a unique understanding of international students, and we recognise that individuals have widely different welfare and cultural needs. Our policy is to provide and maintain a safe and healthy environment for study. Welfare staff are on hand throughout normal School opening hours, and emergency staff are contactable at weekends and overnight.
