Sclerotinia stem rot poses another spring risk, potentially leading to premature ripening, higher risk of lodging and associated yield losses.
• Infects plants at flowering.
• Causes premature ripening, lodging and yield loss.
Targeted fungicide applications during mid to late spring are essential for effective control of this damaging soil-borne disease.
Light leaf spot can continue to spread in the spring, often spreading from infections that began in the previous autumn.
Left untreated, it can severely impact leaves, stems, flowers and pods, causing significant yield losses.
• Carry-over from autumn infections.
• Affects leaves, stems, flowers and pods.
• Risk: High in mild, wet springs or where autumn sprays were missed.
Applying follow-up fungicide sprays in the early spring period provides an important last timing slot to control the disease or minimise further yield damage caused.

Other spring and early summer diseases, including Alternaria (dark leaf spot/pod spot) and Ringspot, may also need to be managed with appropriate fungicide choices.
• Alternaria affects pods, seeds and upper canopy. Can cause pod shatter and lower seed quality.
• Ringspot occurs less frequently but favoured by humid springs. Affects leaves and pods. Proactive assessment and early identification of crops at risk of disease are key to ensuring timely and effective applications to achieve the best results.
Clayton’s spring fungicide range for oilseed rape offers cost-effective, reliable solutions for managing key disease risks through the season.
With a proven line-up including Clayton Navaro, Clayton Tuskar, Clayton Augusta, and Clayton Tebucon 250 EW, growers can rely on broad-spectrum triazoles and strobilurins that provide both systemic and protectant activity, ideal for use from stem elongation through to full flowering and pod fill.
Products containing tebuconazole such as Clayton Navaro and Clayton Tebucon 250EW can be used effectively to manage forward crops to optimise the canopy for yield.
Whether you’re dealing with a forward crop, topping up after autumn sprays, or getting ready to protect during flowering, Clayton’s cost-effective range of spring fungicides give you the flexibility and reliable disease control you need.

systemic triazole fungicide for
OSR Cereals Peas Beans
OSR disease control.
Active Ingredients: 250 g/l tebuconazole EW Formulation Concentrated Aqueous Emulsion
Use Rate & Timing: Apply at 1.0 L/ha between growth stages BBCH 20 and BBCH 69. For Light leaf spot, if disease develops over winter (and no Autumn treatment used), apply 1.0 L/ha in early spring from onset of stem extension. Or application either pre- or post-flowering will generally control late development of light leaf spot on pods and leaves. For Alternaria spp., apply 1.0 L/ha at onset of disease when black spots first appear on pods. For Sclerotinia stem rot, 1.0 L/ha applied at early to full flower will give some reduction. For Ringspot, spring/summer applications made for light leaf spot control may also give some reduction.
Target Diseases: Spring - Light leaf spot, Sclerotinia stem rot, Dark leaf spot/pod spot (Alternaria) and Ringspot. A
• Effective control of Light Leaf Spot, Sclerotinia, and Alternaria.
• High-loaded, straight tebuconazole formulation.
• Cost-effective disease control option.
• Beneficial growth regulatory effect on forward crops.
