København, August 14. 2012

To whom it may concern This letter serves to present Claudia Escrivá Segura and her work at Active City Transformation. Claudia Escrivá Segura worked at Active City Transformation 4 months’ internship at . ACT is a new type of design practice in Copenhagen which specializes in the integration of physical activities within the built environment at all levels of design, from landscape, architecture and urban design to the design of public furniture. Through a flexible and dynamic planning process ACT works on developing action-oriented urban space, which integrate sports and activities into a cohesive whole, and enrich the human experience by stimulating the interactive connection between a city and its citizen, creating a city in motion. Claudia has worked on following projects: - Glostrup Business Park - Winner 1st Prize (Denmark) - Ålborg City in Between - Shared winner of 1st Phase (Denmark) - Albertslund Syd Competition (Denmark) - Pladsen i Trekroner, Roskilde (Denmark) • In “Glostrup Business Park” Claudia worked in the entire project through all the phases. First analysis of the area. Secondly, the division of the plot in three characterized areas; continuing with the development of a new method of projecting according to the starring grade taking into account environmental and economic items. Three options were presented for each area, and Claudia was involved on the drawings of all of them either in plan, sections and axos. Claudia worked on the detailing of the drawings. The detail involved the position of furniture, the type and position of vegetation, pavement and design of a urban activity areas.. The tools used along the project were AutoCad, Illustrator, ScketchUp, Photoshop and InDesign. • In “Ålborg City in Between - 1st Phase“ Claudia worked in the entire phase consistent in: firstly, the analysis of the area. Secondly, the division of the area according to its environmental characteristics and, the decision of which activities could be placed and developed in each area to promote it and improve the life style. The tools used were Illustrator, InDesign Rhinoceros and AutoCad.

• In “Pladsen i Trekroner, Roskilde” Claudia worked from the beginning till the end of the 1st design project phase. There was an internal concept-competition on the office were they had to organise and design the area around the lake. Her proposal was among the top choicen providing positive ideas and a genuine work with the landscape and the terrain levels. The area was divided in small pieces that were studied very carefully and Claudia was looking for new ideas every day to find the best that suited there. She thought about topics that could have influence, such as technology, construction, economy, structure, materials, dimensions, uses, other possible activities, reuse in the future. The action in each area had to be the less agressive for the landscape as possible, and the furniture should be part of these. While part of the team was working on the 3D modelling, she focused on the zooms and sections of each area, drawing carefully and in detail. • In “Albertslund Syd Competition” Claudia worked in the final phase of the competition making some images/visualizations for the final layout. The tool used was Photoshop. As a recommendation for the future, I strongly believe in her abiliy for any future job that requires quick thinking, great organizational skills and a pleasant demeanor when working with people. I had the pleasure of being Claudia's creative director and she is a very good and decicated employee. She is skilled at imagination, great at managing her time and organized. She is persistent and above all she gets good results. She gets behind the project, and is genuine and convincing as an architect. Claudia was efficient in her professional role, but also took the time to engage coworkers and clients with a genuine interest. It was always a pleasure to have Claudia in the office. Any company should be happy to have Claudia on board. I wish her good luck in the future.

Claudia Escriva Segura

It is a pleasure for me to write this letter of recommendation in support of Claudia Escriva Segura, who joined our office first as an intern and then as employee from September 2012 to end of May 2014. Claudia proved a competent, responsible and quick-learning intern who we could entrust with important tasks. From the start of her internship she was involved in the manifold design and drawing processes of our projects, and in particular she had the following tasks: Material Research, Model Building, the Delivery of Creative Solutions, the Development of Client Presentations and Drawing Works. Furthermore, Claudia was a team player who has been popular with her colleagues and clients alike. She was efficient, passionate, accurate and energetic at work, full of creative ideas and capable in executing them. R E C O M M E N DAT I O N ARTEMIS RACING

To whom it may concern, It is with great pleasure and enthusiasm that I am writing a formal recommendation for Claudia Escrivá. We had the pleasure to work with Claudia during the last months of 2014. We contracted her services as an architect for modify a standard shipping container on a transportable state-of-the-art commercial kitchen for our racing team. The project was her full responsibility concerning conceptualization and design. It included not only technical drawings and presentations, but meetings with the workshop workers, engineers, cookers, etc. During these meetings Claudia was always alert in providing explanations and intelligent arguments for choices made. She became very reliable for our project either it was about onsite construction visits and measuring, doing research on rules and regulations concerning the particular US food and heath rules, or completion of final drawings, concept graphics for presentations and imaging. In summary, she was a hard worker who was always punctual, honest and dependable and always did her best with great creativity and enthusiasm. I always appreciated her talent, her ability to stay focused and meet the deadlines with a smile. I am very pleased with Claudia´s performance and, although I was hoping she would could work with us again in our future projects, I believe she would be an outstanding asset to your firm. I give her my highest recommendation. In a former industrial neighborhood on Islands Brygge, we have started to transform an old worn down garage into a modern residence and photo studio for photographer Peter Krasilnikoff. On the outside, long wooden sticks will cover the façade. On the inside, all interior will soon be gone leaving only red brick walls and concrete floor behind as a blank canvas. The idea is to combine the old materials with white terrazzo, marble, steel and wood, while an atrium with big windows runs through the levels and end up in a green roof terrace.

The most interesting issue was to design according to USA rules following the Health&Safety Food Retail Code.
