Reminders & Thank You
Message from the Historian... Hey guys! WELCOME TO THE NEW YEAR! I am so excited for everything that Key Club planned for this year. New year, new board? Elections happened this month, which was exciting too. Let’s make 2014 an amazing year! Sarah Malone Westmont Key Club 2013-2014 Historian
Rose Garden Cleanup January 11, 2014: To kick off the new year, Westmont Key Club volunteered at the San Jose Municipal Rose Garden! At this event, members pruned roses, beautified the flower beds, and picked up the waste. There were even people from other clubs as well as volunteers not affiliated with Key Club there! Historian Sarah Malone said, “It was really awesome because I met a lot of people there. There were even old people, showing that community service doesn’t fade with age!” Thank you to everyone who helped out at this event!

Congratulations to everyone who ran for a position for the 2014-2015 term! Regardless of the outcome, it takes a lot of courage to put yourself out there and to give a speech, so everyone who ran should feel proud of themselves for that. Next year, the 2014 -2015 board will take the club to great heights! Election results were very close this year, and they will be announced at our next meeting, which will be after the February break!
