Professional Contribute to interior design & project management The site is located at a shopping mall in the 5th floor at the tallest building of the world. Client require special new image that combine elements that represent the unique site with their original corporate identity. After study the site carefully, 3 different flows: people, information and currency are discovered. Therefore we intend to create a confluence for the 3 flows gathering together. The first layer, translucent glass wall define the bank but visually blurring the shop and corridor and make it a friendly and welcoming open space. In office hours, it serves as waiting area for clients while at weekend, it become a classroom for financial seminar for special guests. At the edge of shopfront, an open yet closed booth is designed for cash card selling. They want everyone can see them easily but their target clients need special privacy while they are loaning cash from specialist. The second layer is a solid red wall that defined the teller counter and also provides privacy for VIP guests. We make some hollow bars on the wall provide hints. They are telling curious quests: there are still spaces behind the wall for you!

Professional Contribute to interior design The project is a 5-star golf resort located beside Tai-hu Lake. The hotel is targeted for visitors from major cities come over for golf holiday or conference. The site was an old office building that modified to hotel. SL+A is hired to design the whole hotel, and I am assigned to design 2F, which is programmed for an all day café’, a banquet, and private dinning rooms, and also partial atrium. Mountains and waters, layers of curved lines become twisted ribbons that string up multi-cultural event at Tai-hu lakeshore landscape Local sand stone at fields is applied as the solid wall material that defines the curved ribbon. From atrium to second floor all day café’, the walls become strong statement not only represent the design concept but also a natural material that bring casual resort aura. At the café’, lanterns with different sizes are represented as those from different countries, and they also create a festive atmosphere for quests to celebrate their vacation. The millwork screen looks like groups of Lanterns is also used to enhance the image. Banquet Carpet Concept: before the bride walks on the red carpet, most of times, there are flower boy& girls spray petals. The carpet pattern concept is from colorful flower petals for weddings. 1
