lumos* is a light creating spell aurelia is a genus of jellyfish. lumos*aurelia is a lamp inspired by jellyfish in its rhythmic, light, mystical movement and its electric illuminating appearance.

Design Concept

We started by looking at the relationship of the joints that make up a typical lamp, then multiplied and rearranged the connections to create a movement which simulates the movement of jellyfishs’ arms or tentacles.
